Worship at the Manchester Church of the Brethren aims to include persons of all ages, a variety of musical styles, intellectual and spiritual nurture, and the building up of community. The worship service generally follows a regular pattern, including the welcoming of guests, a children’s story, congregational prayer, scripture readings, a sermon, the sharing of offerings, and congregational and choral singing. A variety of persons serve as worship leaders, children’s story tellers, and musicians. Holy Communion is shared during Sunday morning worship two times a year, and communion is open to all who wish to receive it. Nursery care is available for pre-schoolers during the worship service.
